Brothers – The JCP Facilitator Greetings. Come on in. Sit down. Would you like some refreshment? Are you hungry? Let’s get comfortable and we’ll get on with the business of what you came to see me about. I’m a Facilitator. I’m very much involved with each element of the phase, but I’m not the one who does it. You do it. I help you do it. I introduce you to those who can help you. I tell you where you can get supplies for the project. I keep notes of the strategies, the strides, the setbacks. I measure the distance and figure out how much you can do at one swipe and then make the most of that one swipe. Yes, my work is very matter-of-fact. Very pragmatic. It involves constant assessment of capabilities. I speculate along with you then put the concept into my hidden reserve of knowledge and see if it measures up to what I know can be done versus what you think you can do. Fortunately, for all of us, I am quite willing to believe you can do what you say you can do. In the event I believe you will not succeed, I will admonish you accordingly and do so without judgment. You will think I am judging you but I am not; I am merely judging the potential. It is not you that I am finding wanting, but the circumstances. But whenever anyone’s dreams are thwarted, for any reason, there is an element of resistance. You will rise up against me and tell me to my face I am a liar and you will go on your way and try to prove me wrong but you will fail because your motives are not pure. You are acting in defiance of reason, not in harmony with natural law. I do not rejoice to see you fail. I waste no time loitering over what might have been. As J. Alfred Prufrock said in his Love Song, "Let us go then, you and I." How shall we commence? I will facilitate. It’s your move.
